PT Altis Indo Maritim has for many years conducted radio survey on behalf of all the major Classification Societies in Indonesia and Singapore . It is important that emergency and safety equipment is inspected and are in good condition in order for end user to trust the equipments if an accident should happen.
All our Radio Technicians own GOC (General Operator Certificate), which means that they are all familiar with servicing and testing the radio equipment to be checked during the radio survey. Furthermore, Radio Technicians have all participated in courses about the rules that forms the background for radio surveys.
We also have close contacts with the classification societies, so that we are always updated with new rules that could affect the performance of radio survey. To ensure a good quality and traceability of the work carried out, all instruments used by our technicians are constantly calibrated and inspected by an independent test laboratory.
PT Altis Indo Maritim is authorized to perform radio survey of the following classification societies:
PT Altis Indo Maritim has been approved by major Classification Societies to perform APT (Annual Performance Test) on Major VDR brands systems. Since these systems are an important element in the analysis of accidents or near miss incidents, it is imperative that they are always in order and able to record the required data.
PT Altis Indo Maritim VDR technicians are certified to perform VDR APT; this requires a thorough knowledge of all aspects of the equipment. Our VDR technicians also have participated in courses about the IMO Regulation Circ. 1222 framework for VDR.
In connection with our quality control, all VDR survey reports are reviewed internally before they are forwarded to the customer and the classification society plus one copy to the manufacturer.
